We believe that evolution is the evolvement of humans with nature.  Biological evolution, in addition, refers to the change in a species.  In other words, it is the modification of living things and it is also the change of gene pools that occur over time.

How does evolution occur?
The three main processes by which evolution occurs are mutations, natural selection and genetic drift. A mutation is a change in DNA that is based on a sequence of genetic information in a gene. Mutations known as germinal matutations  can be a result from many factors which include natural background radiation, chemical mutagens and viral infections. Mutations do not change over time but the ones that do change can be very harmful.Natural selection is t

he process by which  the organisms best adapted to their environment become the ones most likely to survive and reproduce. This process is often called survival of the fittest. Charles Darwin, a naturalist, was the first to document this process.  Darwin emphasized that natural selection occured because of hereditary variability, the adaption against overpopulation, and struggle for existence.  Moreover, Genetic Drift is the process by which frequencies of existing genes in a population change over time due to chance. Genetic drift exists in all alleles, specially  those that result from an increase or decrease in reproductive fitness.  As time evolves, this process will lead to a change in the frequency of every allele.

Though the Theory of Evolution is supported by a significant amount of scientific evidence, it is not universally accepted.  Many people refuse to accept the theory because they emphasize that that there are many  gaps between evolutionary evidence.  Others, in addition, believe that it interferes with Bibilical beliefs which  include the belief of creationism.  Refering to the Bible,God is the Creator, Sustainer, and the Ultimate  End of all things.   The Bible also emphasizes that humans were created in the image of God.  Many people find it hard to reconcile these viwes with the theory that life on earth has evolved through natural processes.
